Sample Recipe from Coachouse Gourmet Hors d'oeuvres > Mom's Shrimp Rounds
Makes 24
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup grated shallots
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
3 drops Tabasco ™
1/4 Teaspoon curry powder
6 ounces shrimp, cooked and chopped
French baguette, sliced in 1/4 inch slices
Combine all ingredients except bread. Put mixture on bread and broil until bubbly.
My mother always had some shrimp rounds in her freezer. Can be frozen before cooking. Freeze on a baking sheet. When frozen transfer to a freezer bag. Freeze up to three months.
